What an honour it was for Park Ridge State High School to welcome such a wonderful group of guests all the way from Indonesia! 🇮🇩

We were thrilled to welcome:

▪️ Mr. Kiki Setiawan from the Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia in Sydney
▪️ Indonesian singer, Mr. Visa Mahasa (V’IMAST)
▪️ Ms. Evelynd and Ms. Gabriella Princessa from QUT

Our special guests visited Park Ridge SHS to deliver free Indonesian cultural workshops and traditional Indonesian games for our students. 🇮🇩✨

It was part of the celebrations for Indonesian Independence Day, while also delivering their fantastic “Indonesian Goes to Schools” program across New South Wales, South Australia and Queensland. 🇦🇺

This was the first time Park Ridge SHS has hosted these wonderful workshops, giving our students the opportunity to experience Indonesian culture, traditions and games. 💃♫

A huge thank you to everyone involved! We hope our students walked away with new experiences, wonderful memories and a greater appreciation for Indonesian culture. ❤️🇮🇩 Terima kasih! 🌏✨

📆 This Friday, our performing arts community is holding a small
concert to show off our smaller ensembles.

This student-led evening features our wonderful Choir, solo Vocalists, Sax Ensemble,
and many other small bands across our school.

It is an incredible event where Park Ridge students are given the space to showcase
their hard work and perform for our community. Performing arts is such a huge part
of our school's culture, and it is vital that we give these groups the support they need
to continue their craft and make music 🎶

Today at our annual Partners' Breakfast, we celebrated our valued school partners - the organisations and individuals who support, collaborate with and contribute to our school community. 💙

We came together to celebrate our collective achievements, including the Australian Educator's School of the Year (Government) award that represents the many years of hard work across our whole school community. ⭐
