The Grove Library

Our hands are covered in glitter and our hearts are full after a fantastic time at the Diwali mask decorating craft today.

Thank you to all the talented kids who came out to celebrate the upcoming Indian Festival of Lights with us.
Check out some of the amazing designs below!

What an absolute blast we had on Friday! 🎮✨
The Grove Library was packed with an amazing group of young creators for a full-day MindBuzz Minecraft camp.

Campers used Java Minecraft on supplied laptops to dive deep into the game's technical side, tackle custom worlds, build epic structures, and practice teamwork and problem-solving.

Missed out or want to join the next adventure? Keep an eye out for future school holiday dates and find out more at the Mind Buzz Website; https://mindbuzz.com.au.

Our mini chefs rolled, shaped, and stamped their way to deliciousness!

A huge thank you to all the creative kids (and parents!) who joined us at The Grove Library for our Mid-Autumn Festival Mooncake Workshop!

We were so excited to welcome back the wonderful Regina from The Chung Wah Association Inc., who shared the magical history and fun traditions behind these beautiful treats.
From learning ancient stories to getting their hands sticky while crafting their very own mooncakes from scratch, our little bakers did an amazing job.

This fantastic community event was proudly sponsored by The Shire of Peppermint Grove. Thank you for supporting such a wonderful cultural experience for our local families!

Enjoy the long weekend! 👑

We had an absolute blast welcoming the incredibly talented Perth cartoonist and graphic novelist Gavin Aung Than for a day filled with creativity and imagination!

A massive thank you to the fantastic students and teachers from PLC, Mosman Park Primary School, and Cottesloe Primary School who joined us. Gavin shared his journey and hosted an epic, hands-on cartooning workshop. From sidekicks to mythical creatures, the kids blew us away with their incredible drawing skills. We can’t wait for his new books in 2027!

Thank you, Gavin, for inspiring our local school communities, and thank you to everyone who made this day so unforgettable!

We had an absolutely ball today at The Grove Library for Children’s Book Week 2026! The incredibly talented WA author and illustrator Gabriel Evans stopped by, to spark waves of creativity, fun, and imagination.

It was fantastic to introduce students to the brilliant mind behind so many beloved picture books. From exploring his enchanting storybooks to seeing his characters jump to life.
Thank you, Gabriel, for sharing your incredible craft and helping us celebrate Book Week 2026.

A rainy day but what a fantastic day at The Grove Library!
We had a wonderful time celebrating Children’s Book Week with the amazing Dr. Rena Fu.

A massive shoutout and thank you to the fantastic students from Presbyterian Ladies' College, Beehive Montessori, and Cottesloe Primary School, who braved the rainy weather to join us! Your enthusiasm made the day incredibly bright, and it was so special seeing everyone engage with science and creativity.

What a brilliant opening day at The Grove Library celebrating CBCA Book Week 2026 with Kylie Howarth, and some legendary students from Mosman Park Primary School and Cottesloe Primary School!

We dived into the worlds of Fish Kid, Chip, and Kev and Trev, and a cheeky, undie-stealing emu, and even put the student’s art skills to the test with some epic sharks.
A massive thank you to Kylie Howarth, and to all the brilliant kids and teachers for joining the fun today.
