Jupiters Tree

Stripped back, rawer than ever bringing, phonic sap, bending limbs and root juice straight from the trunk to your soul. JUPITER’S TREE MEANING
Jupiter is the god of the sky and thunder and King of the gods in ancient Roman mythology. Many of his functions were focused on the Capitoline Hill, where the citadel was located, on which stood a mighty Oak tree and became one of his three sacred symbols. The Oak is commonly referred to as the King of Trees and represents the ultimate in hospitality and safety, as well as a mystical symbol of truth and bravery. On Capitoline Hill, the Oak stood as a firm reminder that humankind has the ability to overcome all odds as well as a tremendous capacity for kindness even to strangers whose path we cross. This symbol resonates with our music translating in to modern times by communicating human growth, inspiration, power and emotion all combined to uplift spirit. BIOGRAPHIES

Kevin Hume - BASS
Kev enjoys playing piano, acoustic guitar, keyboard but the instrument which resonates more deeply is the bass guitar and his weapon of choice. Keenly influenced by Colin Greenwood of Radiohead, Kev believes that the bass guitar has no rules other than it should compliment a song and the overall soundscape. Always looking for that smooth groove and ultra smooth tone with that little trinket of special sauce subtlety put in the mix. Born and bred in Western Australia, Kev has lived also on the east coast for 6 years involved in some interesting writing projects with artists such as BCK. Now residing back home in WA and loving being a part of the vibrant live music scene.
