The Dockers are in the grand final this Saturday and Freo is about to be chaos. Road closures, crowds, the lot. So HEALTH are packing up Metropolis and coming to mine instead.

Possums, gather round, because I have gossip.

Most men hit 50 and buy a sad little boat. Not Trent Crawford. My darling veteran frontman looked his milestone dead in the eye and decided the only appropriate way to celebrate was full throttle: dragging Not Dollar Short out on the road, a riotous tribute to One Dollar Short, the pop-punk darlings that launched his whole career nearly 30 years ago.

And the man himself? He'd been relearning the old songs, playing them all soft and acoustic, when the clock started ticking a little too loudly. So instead of a backyard barbie, he's celebrating them properly: mates in tow, out on the road, playing the songs he grew up on. Now that is my kind of midlife crisis.

He's not coming alone either, dolls. Flanking him is a positively stacked line-up plucked from Through Being Cool: Joel Attenborough (Irrelevant), Dave McBeath (Something With Numbers) and Michael Dallinger (Frenzal Rhomb). A pedigree, honestly.

Expect a set dripping in classic One Dollar Short anthems, with a few choice Frenzal Rhomb and Something With Numbers numbers thrown in to keep you sweating.
