Pretty lucky to have such a great bunch of people around us. We’re definitely missing a few of our key staff today though — it’s just not the same without the whole crew together! ❤️

Still, any excuse to stop work for five minutes, eat cake and remind Adam that he is officially 40 YEARS OLD 😂👴

A MESSAGE FROM MANAGEMENT 🐾

Lemon would like to formally thank everyone who stopped by this week to offer pats, cuddles and general emotional support while she continues to settle into her new role at Signature Caravan Repairs.
It’s been a big week for our newest member of management. There have been staff to supervise, important paperwork to inspect, keyboards to sit on, caravans to bring in, naps to be had and absolutely no respect for personal space.

She’s still learning how to manage the team, delegate appropriately and navigate the complexities of her new position… although so far, her main management strategy appears to be being adorable until someone gives in and most importantly, identifying which employees are most likely to give her attention.
There have been a few minor incidents of workplace misconduct, including stealing cupcake wrappers from bins, chewing things that weren’t hers and generally being a tiny menace, but thankfully, the team has been incredibly supportive and morale has never been higher!

So from Lemon: thank you for the pats, the cuddles and for continuing to support her during this important period of professional development.

She’ll get the hang of this management thing eventually.

BREAKING NEWS!

Lemon is officially mobile and Bec is officially hands-free 🐾

Our newest little team member has been popping up around the workshop to supervise operations and saying hello to our customers throughout the day.

A HUGE thank you to our wonderful owner, Grace, for being so thoughtful and generous and making it possible for Lemon to come to work, brighten everyone’s days and turn even the biggest, toughest men into crumbling messes of high-pitched, unintelligible words 😂

Turns out, when you’re running a busy workshop, sometimes the best employee perk is a puppy-sized kangaroo pouch! 😂

Lemon says thanks, Grace… and she’ll be expecting her next cuddle break momentarily. 🐶 🍋

A BIG CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR NEW GENERAL MANAGER, BEC

Many of our customers already know Bec from her past few years as one of our Service Advisors. Since joining Signature, she has received nothing but raving reviews. She’s calm in a crisis, clear in her communication and genuinely cares about making sure every customer feels heard and looked after.

The funny thing is, choosing Bec almost became a public vote we never actually asked for.

The little comments and whispers just kept coming from customers, suppliers and our own workshop team. Eventually, Adam and I realised everyone was telling us what we already knew. Bec was the clear and easy choice.

With Signature continuing to grow and expand, we’ve reached a point where having a General Manager who understands the ins and outs of the business, can support our team and shares our commitment to customer service and quality workmanship is an important part of our next chapter.

Bec has already made a huge impact on our procedures and staff training, and when we offered her this new challenge, she accepted with open arms. There will naturally be plenty to learn, but Bec certainly isn’t afraid of a challenge. We know everyone will support her as she settles into the role and continues doing what she does best, making people feel supported, cared for and looked after.

Outside of work, Bec is a local, recently married, busy mum of three and a huge family person. She loves camping, the great outdoors, has a serious weakness for cookies and absolutely loves photography. And when we say she photographs everything, we mean everything, right down to caravan toilets.

And of course, there’s Lemon, Bec’s very cute puppy who is currently coming to work each day. If you’re passing by, you’re always welcome to pop in and say hello or sneak in a Lemon cuddle.

Bec really is one in a million, and we’re incredibly lucky to have her helping lead Signature into its next chapter.

To our customers, suppliers and everyone who supports our family business, next time you see Bec, make sure you congratulate her.

Behind Signature Caravan Repairs are owners and directors Grace and Adam Nielsen. Two passionate travellers who understand that a caravan is more than a vehicle. It’s your freedom, your family time and your next adventure.

They built Signature Caravan Repairs on three simple beliefs: work should be done properly, genuine customer service still matters, and safe travel begins with great preparation.

With more than 20 years in the caravan industry and a shared love of travelling and free-camping across Western Australia, Adam and Grace have created a family-driven workshop where quality comes before volume, communication is clear, and every caravan is treated with genuine care.

It's easy to forget about your slide-out... until it stops working 😬 And unfortunately, it always seems to happen at the worst possible time! Like just before a big trip, while you're away on holidays, or when you're parked up in the middle of nowhere.

So this is your little reminder to have your slide-out serviced before it becomes a problem.

Over the years, Adam has repaired hundreds of slide-outs, from simple adjustments and servicing right through to complete rebuilds. Every job is different, and that's exactly what he loves. The bigger the challenge, the more determined he is to find the right solution.

He's completed specialised Lippert slide-out training in Melbourne three separate times, continually investing in his knowledge so he can confidently repair systems that many workshops simply won't touch. It's why customers travel from all over WA to have their vans repaired here.

This particular van has been coming back to us for years, and this visit brought one of its biggest challenges yet. For Adam, that's not something to shy away from, it's exactly why he does what he does. Seeing a difficult repair through and getting families back on the road safely is what makes it all worthwhile.

Adam isn't just repairing caravans, he's protecting holidays, adventures, and the memories that come with them.
