Rising Sound WA is a Not-For-Profit organisation run by a team of passionate musicians, focused on contributing to the musical landscape of our local and regional communities. Founded by, and composed of, a passionate and dedicated team with a wealth of experience across the music, entertainment and event-management industries, Blue Arts Fly is on course to establish itself as a dynamic and successful Not-For-Profit organisation focused on contributing to the cultural landscape of our local communities. Maintaining a strong emphasis on promoting local artists and activating spaces both public and private, our love of music and the creative arts has driven us exclusively thus far, and we take pride in a successful history of planning, promoting and producing high-quality live music events over recent years. The official introduction of the Blue Arts Fly collective is the next logical step as we progress towards our common goal –
To consistently curate inclusive social-events throughout all seasons of the year, creating memorable occasions that bring together people from all walks of life. To remind people that music is the great leveller, it is a language that transcends borders and boundaries, and a gift that we give to one another as we celebrate our diversity and the common ground upon which we stand.

Meet Sarah!
For Sarah Sands, her musical roots run deep, passed on from her father, Perth country stalwart, Gene Sands, and through her numerous WAM winning siblings After bouncing between various bands through her 20s and 30s, from jazz to rock, Sands is forging ahead with her true love of country music in The Stumblers. No longer content to wait around for offers, she has decided to create the gigs she wants to play and wants to attend. With a specific focus on WA Country artists, Sands is assembling events across the State, from Maylands to Merredin, and is determined to bring quality music to every corner of WA, with all the sparkle and rhinestones that goes along with it.

This Saturday at Midland Records we have the amazing, up and coming, singer songwriter, and all round super gal, Aydee Bull starting the show at 12.15 followed by the outstanding harmonic duo, Charlie & Goldie at 1.15.
Come down and grab a coffee and a bite to eat and listen to some cool live music while you browse the vinyl and vintage.
What a fabulous evening of music at the Spring Time Country Folk Jamboree at Lyric's Underground yesterday.
A massive shout out to the 5 awesome bands. The Stumblers Michael Savage Stack of Bibles Wh***ey Jack The Little Lord Street Band. Woo!! 🙌 you all played such amazing sets!

So who is playing this Saturday at Midland Records?
Kerry B Ryan Blues Experience is an experienced blues guitarist, vocalist, songwriter and recording artist, and recent semi finalist in the Blues section of the 2026 unsigned world wide song competition. He first picked up a guitar at the tender age of thirteen, and has been carrying a guitar everywhere he goes ever since.
Frequently described as a must-see artist for true blues lovers, Kerry B Ryan whether solo or with his band The Blues Experience he brings a wealth of experience to the stage, having performed live for over 30 years, the band always consists of some of Perth's finest musicians. He has also written, arranged and recorded his own original blues music, which has received airplay across Australia and the USA and Europe and became a semi finalist in the international song competition 2021 .
