Talk about worn out! This loader level link had finally had enough. Due to part availability issues and the requirement to get back to work ASAP, In Situ Machining was tasked with the repair job and had the machine back up and running in no time.

A tad bit smaller slew bearing seating surface than what we usually machine, but just as satisfying none the less

Thought we’d change it up this week with some OD machining. Utilising the Climax PL3000 portable lathe, the shaft of this drill carousel was welded and machined, returning it to OEM spec and looking like new again.
