Wooden Balance Game - Positional Language πŸ›Ά

Hey πŸ‘‹

Alright, so I was walking through Kmart and came across this Wooden Balance Game in the wooden toy aisle. If you’ve been following me since the beginning of my resource-creating journey, you might remember that Kmart used to sell a different version of this game, and I created some cards to go with it. πŸ‘€

Looking back, they were very basic, but I was only just learning how to create resources at that point. Fast forward to now, and I’m so happy to look back and be reminded of just how far my skills have come.

It’s a bit of a full-circle moment and a chance to reflect. ⭕️

This resource includes 34 printable cards to use with the Wooden Balance Game. The cards focus on revising positional language and are a fun, hands-on way to get students learning through play. 🐨

Solar System Interest + Fine Motor Focus = This activity! πŸš€

Hey Teachers,

I went to officeworks a while back and I grabbed a few packets of these linking cubes, they have been a hit in our house. They also work perfectly with all our Toy Mini Brick resources and we have some many different themed ones for different learning areas and interests. (Also, I am always open to requests if you have an idea in mind)

My son still needs a bit of guidance and support while making these linking cube creations because it requires a developed skill in spatial awareness.

Comment below if you would like the link to the printable resources and linking cubes from officeworks.

Grateful for your support!

Show me the money πŸ’°

Here is another fun activity focusing on financial mathematics.
This activity is for students to build their skill for dealing with money in the real world by representing the same amount of money in multiple ways.

The play money can be purchased from Kmart Australia or Officeworks

Feelings Flower Puzzle 😊 🌸 🧩

Hey Teachers,

Here is a new resource I have created to help children check in with their feelings and build emotional awareness. This resource focuses on social-emotional learning while encouraging students to recognise and identify their emotions.

This activity is perfect for a calm corner, wellbeing space, or quiet area within the classroom where students can privately reflect on how they are feeling. It can also be used to support students when they are feeling dysregulated and finding it difficult to express or understand their emotions.

By matching and exploring different feelings, students are encouraged to slow down, tune into their bodies, and develop the language needed to identify and communicate their emotions. This hands-on resource provides a meaningful way to support emotional regulation, self-awareness, and wellbeing.
