Thoughts?

This is what MUST happen next for Australian football after the Matildas fell short in the Asian Cup Final 🇦🇺⚽️ A captivating answer from coach Joe Montemurro on the future of the game in this country. "We've got to decide who we are, what we want to be and where we want to be in 10/15 years time - and stick to it" 🎯

Proud of our boys today reaching the semi-finals of the Sorrento Cup and competing against some of Perth’s top club teams.

We went down 1–0 to the eventual winners, Sorrento, but there were plenty of positives to take from the day. The boys learned the hard way that when you play against top teams, staying focused for the full game is non-negotiable. Work rate will get you a long way, but concentration in the key moments is what wins competitions.

Well done to everyone on a solid performance in challenging conditions. A very good showing as we build towards our upcoming tournament in Bali.

A special congratulations to Aary on winning the competition’s Golden Boot, a fantastic achievement.

Congratulations to Sorrento on winning the competition, and also to Sorrento FC for delivering a very well-run tournament, up there with the best we’ve competed in. 👏

We go again, team. 👏⚽️
