A big congratulations to Tangney's own Neasa Flynn, who has been selected as part of the Australian Hockeyroos squad for the 2026 FIH Hockey World Cup. 🏑
The FIH Hockey World Cup is being played in Belgium and the Netherlands from 15-30 August, with Australia facing Japan in Game 1 tomorrow.
Neasa used to play for Melville City Hockey Club and I'm wishing her and the entire team all the best!

It was wonderful to meet students today from All Saints' College WA in Canberra, who were visiting Parliament House as part of the School Visits Program. Great to see the young, energetic and keen learners and thank you for all of your questions.

Like many people across Perth, I was deeply concerned by the footage of a mother being attacked in Northbridge while her 3 month old baby was inside the car.
As a father of three and a grandfather of two, this one really stayed with me. Ling showed incredible courage in a frightening situation, with her first concern being the safety of her baby.
Having also spent 16 years in policing, I was grateful to see two members of the public step in to help, and WA Police respond and arrest a woman nearby.
My thoughts are with Ling and her family. I hope she feels safe and supported after such a distressing experience.

Every morning, families across Tangney head off in different directions. Parents go to work, children head into their early learning centres, and another day of learning begins.
For many children, some of their biggest milestones happen there, learning to share, make friends, ask questions and build confidence. That's why this week's Early Learning Matters Week is such a good opportunity to recognise the educators who help make those moments possible.
Supporting these educators means supporting children and families too. That's why the 15% pay rise is helping recognise the important role they play while strengthening the early learning workforce.
Thank you to every early childhood educator across Tangney for everything you do.
