You’re guaranteed your rabbit will be under the watchful eye and loving care of Kym and David, the founders of The White Rabbit Retreat. Your bunny will have its own clean and tidy temperature-controlled large pen to lounge around in while you’re off having fun somewhere exotic (well, as much fun as you can have without your bunnies!)
Hi, my name is Kym and, with my husband David, we own and operate The White Rabbit Retreat right here in Perth, Western Australia. Well, what we offer is unique and exclusive – some would say ‘boutique’….Essentially, we look after your rabbits in 5-star luxury whilst you’re away on holiday! We are often asked why we created The White Rabbit Retreat. At the time, we were a family with just 1 very spoilt rabbit named Minty. Our beautiful Minty was a white dwarf X rabbit with black markings and the sole inspiration behind ‘The White Rabbit’ name. So why create a retreat for rabbits? The idea was formed when it came time for us to take a short break – we could see there was a huge need for high-end luxury indoor care for rabbits, especially for people looking to go away on holiday. 90% of the holiday boarding places we researched housed rabbits in breeding banks, wooden hutches outdoors or cages with very little to keep them occupied. This simply wasn’t acceptable! As soon as we were home, we began planning……little did we know that nearly 10 years down the track we would be Perth's number 1 boarding facility and now includes grooming only (The Retreat Spa) and our own rabbit bedding range (Billy & Co) all handmade by David!

Princess Kiki, tiny little nugget of a bun joined us last week for her first holiday! Her parents had zero reasons to worry—Kiki immediately won us over with her confidence, pure joy, and endless cheeky antics.
It was quickly established we work on Kiki's time 😂. Kiki is heading home tonight with a new holiday glow ✨ and no doubt we'll be seeing more of her @ TWRR!

Snuggles got the memo that bumper beds are simply, THE BEST! So much so Snuggles hasnt touched the bed with his teeth?! Snuggles has had his bumper bed for a good few months, still going strong, he loves it and it takes pride of place in his lux abode! 🤎

Back just a few days ago when it was 30+ degrees and warm in Perth, Miss Jade headed out for her first outdoor time. Jade is a sensitive soul and can be frightened easily, but I need not have worried! Jade nailed her first time outside, even finding her own way up onto the lounge. Everything was chinned thoroughly 😂. Hopefully, with all the work we've done here with Jade she might go home with a little more confidence 🩷.

Fresh grooming-only appointments are now available through until the end of March 2027 (yes, I've been busy 😂)! You're welcome to setup regular, ongoing appointments online. This time of year is very busy, moulting season has hit hard and appointments are booking fast! 💗

And.....Djarlee! He's definitely not the boss in the pairing but holds his own (when he's allowed 😂). So good to see him well again! He's more than happy to eat as many 🥝 🥝 🥝 treats as he can fit in his mouth too. It's a talent. 🤎

Binkie and her redicoulous coat blow-out's! Session number 4 this week, just to keep on top of her huge moult. With the warmer weather setting in, rabbits are dropping their winter coats for summer. This time of year brings a much higher risk of intestinal blockages, so daily grooming is key! A quick once-over with a paddle brush each day makes all the difference in keeping your buns healthy during peak shedding season! 🤎🤍

How's Miffy's form?! Miffy joined us last week for her first mini vacay and already throwing the tongue out 😂! Isn't she stunning, such a beautiful colour and very cheeky too. Miffy has learnt the art of using her gorgeous looks to get her way. Miffy is heading home tomorrow night but no doubt she'll be a frequent flyer of TWRR! 🖤🤎
