The cheese pull hack that made my whole day 🧀😍
My ultimate cheese pull hack: add a thick, golden layer of Alba Cheese treccia to a simple dish. 🍕
I tried it on homemade thin crust pizza with fresh tomatoes, and the pull was unreal. Slow, stretchy, gooey.
🧀 Stretch: long, no snapping
🔥 Melt: golden on top, gooey underneath
😋 Flavour: creamy, lets the tomatoes shine
Works on garlic bread and meatball bakes too. 🙌

Taco Wednesday just got an upgrade 🌮🍺
Okay Perth, we need to talk about El Público in Mt Lawley 👀
Their Wednesday special is 3 tacos + a b**r, and it’s SO worth it:
🐟 Baja fish taco, fresh and crunchy
🥩 Wagyu rump taco with that cheese crust (obsessed)
🥟 Potato & jalapeño empanada
Then we went a little extra and added street corn 🌽, chicharrón with guac 🥑 and Mogo Mogo balls (trust me on these).
The vibe? Immaculate. The staff? So friendly. Already planning my next visit ✨

Victoria Park Silk Road gem 👀🍜
Uyghur food and I’m obsessed. We went with the classics: kabab polo (savory rice pilaf loaded with tender meat), chicken kordak (rich, spiced braised chicken), and lagman — those hand-pulled noodles hit different. Every dish had that perfect balance of spice and comfort.
If you haven’t explored Central Asian cuisine yet, this is your sign. Silk Road flavors deserve way more hype.
