How often does a loading problem on the bench not surface until end of shift?

For most D&B Supervisors, finding out means going to look or waiting for someone to tell you. Jumping in the ute, getting on the radio to the shotfirers, walking the pattern to see what's actually gone down the hole. If the numbers don't match up, by then the problem has already cost you time.

EXM Blast flips that around. The information comes to you, as it happens:

📍Live loading progress. See what's loaded, hole by hole, from the office.
📦 Automatic reconciliation. Magazine movements are matched to shotfirer usage on the bench, so discrepancies show up straight away, not at end of shift.
✅ Blast close-out. Reporting is captured as the work gets done, not pieced together afterwards.

Catch it early. Fix it early. Spend less time chasing and more time on the stuff that actually needs you.

This week LiveMine celebrated two pretty special milestones!

Suren has been with the team for 8 years, and Michael for 6 🥳

Suren first worked with LiveMine through a company Bud & Brendan engaged for external software development. He later joined LiveMine as Software Development Manager, and they’ve been fortunate to have him on the team ever since.
What stands out about Suren is how he treats people. He shows the team genuine empathy and goes about his work with a level of humility that’s rare. He leads by example, supports those around him and never makes it about himself.
Suren is a standout employee and an outstanding human being. LiveMine is very lucky to have had him as part of the team for the past 8 years.

Michael’s story at LiveMine started with a TKM presentation. He impressed them so much that they gave him a job straight out of uni. Bud didn’t even look at his resume or uni grades. What he saw in that presentation was enough to want Michael on the team. He became LiveMine’s first software developer.
After years in mining, running underground contracts and now a mining tech company, Bud has learnt that good people don’t always need years of experience to stand out. Sometimes you just need to give someone a start, support them and let them work it out.
Michael made an impression, Bud backed him, and 6 years later he’s LiveMine’s Technical Engineering Manager. What a ride!

Congratulations Suren and Michael!

They made it home safe and healthy!

Miner V Wild 2026 proved tough for these miners with temperatures reaching 37°C and long days on foot. But every hard moment was worth it to raise awareness and funds for young Western Australians facing mental health challenges far greater than anything experienced on the trek.

While the 2026 trek is over, the fundraising still continues. Donations remain open until 31 August, and the group has already raised more than $150,000. You've still got a few days to help push this incredible crew past their goal and support the important work being done for Youth Focus.

Every dollar counts and every donation matters, so if you've been meaning to chip in, now's the time. https://fundraising.youthfocus.com.au/event/minervwild-2026/home

2 in 5 young Australians are living with a mental health challenge you can't always see.

These aren't just statistics; they're kids in our schools, our sports clubs, our neighbourhoods; kids in our own families. The ones we coach, the ones we sit next to at Sunday lunch, the ones we assume are fine because they never say otherwise.

Last year, supported 3,546 young people in their own communities, at no cost, and without needing a referral.

LiveMine founder, Bud O'Shannessy, is heading out for Miner v Wild this year to raise funds to keep that door open for the next young person who needs it. Every dollar helps Youth Focus provide counselling for young people right across WA, in the city and in the bush.

We're seeking sponsors for this year's challenge, starting from $5,000. If your business wants to back something that genuinely makes a difference, this is it. Get in touch to join us. [email protected]

Miner V Wild 2026 🐊

Next month, LiveMine founder Bud will join a group of mining leaders for Miner V Wild 2026, a five-day survival trek through the Kimberley raising funds and awareness for youth mental health in Western Australia.
The group will cover around 12 kms each day while carrying 15-20 kgs of camping equipment and supplies. It will test them physically and mentally, but the challenge represents something much bigger.

In 2024, more than one in four deaths among young Western Australians aged 15 to 24 were due to su***de. Across Australia, around 1.1 million young adults aged 16 to 24 experienced a mental health disorder within a 12-month period.
Behind these numbers are young people in our families, workplaces, sporting clubs and communities. They highlight the urgent need for early intervention and accessible mental health support.

Funds raised through Miner V Wild will support Youth Focus in providing counselling and mental health services to young people across WA, helping them access professional support before they reach crisis point.

We’re incredibly proud to see Bud representing LiveMine and using this challenge to help create meaningful change.

This is bigger than a trek. It’s an opportunity for our industry to stand behind young Western Australians and make sure support is available when they need it most.

You can support Miner V Wild 2026 by donating, sponsoring a trekker or sharing the campaign:

Last night, the LiveMine team took on Prison Island, navigating a series of challenging rooms that tested our strength, problem-solving skills and teamwork

We were pleased to see all five teams make it out still friends, although a few of the rooms definitely put us to the test! 😅

Congratulations to the winning team, The West Perth Tunnel Rats (Robert, Leon & Matthew), who just took out first place with an impressive score of 2840!

After working up an appetite, we headed to Tipsy Cow, where we enjoyed some of the best meals we’ve had 🤤
