📢💰Reminder! | Salary thresholds for employer-sponsored visas are increasing from 1 July 2026.
If your business is planning to sponsor an overseas worker, this is not something to leave until the last minute.
The new thresholds will affect certain employer-sponsored nominations, including subclass 482 matters and some subclass 186 cases.
Importantly:
• if Labour Market Testing is required, employers need to allow a clear 28 days
• the nomination must be lodged before 1 July 2026 if you want the current threshold to apply
• the visa application can be lodged after
• and leaving lodgement until the final day is risky, especially if ImmiAccount is overloaded or crashes
