Creating a safe sleep environment is one of the many ways we care for children each day. From following safe sleep practices and using approved cots, to completing visual checks every 5 minutes, our educators take every step to help children rest safely and comfortably.

We also work closely with families to understand each child's individual sleep routine, because feeling safe, settled and well-rested helps children learn, grow and thrive.

We are incredibly proud to celebrate one of our talented parents who has created a beautiful children's book that supports families navigating big transitions and life changes.

Honey's Big Move follows Honey on an emotional journey as she leaves behind her friends, school and most importantly, her beloved Grandma Christine and Grandad Brian, to begin a new life in Perth. Through Honey's experiences, young readers are gently guided through the complex emotions that often accompany major changes, including excitement, fear, curiosity and sadness.

We love seeing members of our community creating meaningful resources that support children's wellbeing, emotional development and resilience. Congratulations on this wonderful achievement and for helping children and families feel seen, understood, and supported during life's big adventures. 💛📚

Look who has arrived to kick off the fun... Thing One and Thing Two! 💙❤️

Our Centre Director Kacey and Educational Leader Adrielle are getting into the Book Week spirit and can't wait to celebrate a week filled with stories, imagination, creativity, and adventure!

We encourage all of our families to join in the excitement by dressing up as your favourite book characters throughout the week. Whether it's a much-loved classic, a superhero from a story, or a character you've created yourself, we'd love to see everyone get involved.

Reading opens the door to endless possibilities, and Book Week is a wonderful opportunity to inspire a lifelong love of books and storytelling in our children.

⚽🥄 Learning through play in our Nursery room!

Our nursery friends had a wonderful time exploring with balls and scoops today. As they carefully scooped, carried, and transferred the balls, they were developing important hand-eye coordination skills while having lots of fun!

Activities like these help strengthen fine and gross motor skills, improve concentration, and encourage children to practise controlling their movements as they track, grasp, and move objects. These early experiences are essential for building the coordination needed for everyday tasks as they grow.

🔤📚 Building early literacy skills through play!

Our Kindy children have been busy exploring letters through fun matching and recognition activities. As they identified letters, matched them together, and practised naming them, they were developing important early literacy skills that lay the foundation for future reading and writing.

Letter recognition helps children begin to understand that letters have names, sounds, and meaning. Activities like these also support memory, concentration, problem-solving, and confidence as children become familiar with the building blocks of language.

You can support literacy development at home by pointing out letters in books, on signs, or around the house, and encouraging your child to find and name the letters they recognize.
