Thank you to Australia’s Biggest Op Shop Sale for having me to walk the runway today, and to Save the Children Australia and Kit N Kaboodle for allowing me to wear their outfits. Thanks also to LUCINDA PICKETT | MAKEUP for doing my green eye makeup and hair. Additionally, thank you to Bernadette Maree | Perth Host & Digital Creator for taking the first video, ELLISE KAE for taking the second photo, and ALGARABIA DESIGNER | Slow Fashion | Art for taking photos 3 and 4. Sadly, I haven’t been on social media as much the last one or two weeks, because I thought I had the flu, but, as Alex tested positive for RSI, I’m wondering if I had RSI as well. 🤔 I also only got two hours sleep last night because, even though I’m mostly better, my cough still lingers. 😭 All that being said, I enjoyed getting to wear local and sustainable designers and op-shops, and the weather was perfect and super beautiful for it! I especially loved my Kit N Kaboodle outfit, because it has the beautiful woman atop a bird on the back of the jacket. Let me know what you’ve gotten up to this weekend, and I’ll have more soon!

I’m still feeling rough from the flu, but today was an improvement, so I think I’m on the mend. ☺️ Once I’m fully better, I have some cool events and collaborations coming up, and I’m walking the runway at Australia’s Biggest Op Shop Sale on Sunday, so make sure you get tickets. Thank you to LAMORTAZZA, MIZZICA and cibonorthperth for having us to a long table dinner at Optus Stadium. The dinner was part of the littleitalyperth Festival, and was a lot of fun. Even better, it was four courses. 😜 Upon arrival, we were given an Aperol Spritz, and then shortly after, enjoyed our first course of Antipasto Italiano. Each of the courses were complimented with a wine, so a premium Prosecco was the first we were given. Next up, was Caserecce Salsiccia e Broccoli, a delicious pasta! For our third course, we got to watch our porchetta being freshly carved, and dessert, (dolce) was Sicilian cannoli by Roberta Cake Lab and Mondo Nougat. It was a very tasty evening, and the staff were so lovely and attentive. Thank you to all the Italian Perth businesses involved! Dessert was obviously my favourite part of the night, as I have a sweet tooth. Roberta Cake Lab freshly piped the cannoli, and she used cottage cheese instead of custard, which was much more scrumptious! Everything was super good, but the porchetta was also great, it was sublimely crunchy and the salsa verde and potatoes with it were a great addition. What a beautiful Italian evening in Perth!

Thank you so much to Stuart Meachem for these great shots! In the past, I didn’t do photo shoots often, even though I was frequently asked. I felt I was hideous, and thus feared what the results would be! I’m very proud of myself for getting out of my comfort zone this year, and doing more shoots. They actually give me so much joy from being creative and trying new things, and I’m glad I’ve given myself permission to have a go, rather than hiding away.

Thank you to Perth Fashion Club for having me to a beautiful evening of networking at the STATE BUILDINGS. I got a peek at what they have brewing, and I’m so excited!!! I can’t wait to be involved, and it was also such a joy to talk to some amazing women, (and two men!). I additionally got to meet a few mutual followers who I’ve never met in person, which was beyond lovely. Watch this space, because exciting things are coming, but my lips are sealed. 😜🤫
