Before you raise rates again, please consider the people trying to get a foot in the door.
We work with everyday Aussies trying to secure a home of their own. We see how hard it is to save a deposit, cover living costs and afford repayments.
We understand inflation needs to come down as it's hurting these same households.
However, another rate rise is not the solution. It risks pushing home ownership further out of reach and stretching household budgets even thinner.
Please pause further increases and give earlier rate rises more time to work.
Behind every decision are people working hard for a place to call home.
