Uncomfortable truth!
Faith is not an excuse for poor accounting.
A business loan is a liability,
And a grant is entrusted business funding.
Neither automatically becomes the owner’s personal income.
Pay yourself properly,
Separate personal money from company money,
And tithe from what legitimately becomes yours.
Christian integrity in business means honesty, accountability and faithful stewardship.
The Holy Scripture reminds us that:
“If you have not been faithful with what belongs to someone else, who will give you what is your own?”

The same friend who laughs with you while you cheat customers
Will not recommend you to manage his brother’s business.
The same relative who joins you in spreading family gossip
Will not trust you with his private matters.
The same colleague who helps you manipulate figures
Will choose an honest person when it is time to employ someone for a serious position.
People may enjoy doing wrong with you,
But when their future, money, family or reputation is involved,
They suddenly start looking for a good person.
That is the irony of life!!!
A person may tolerate your bad character for entertainment,
convenience or temporary gain,
But they will rarely build anything valuable with you.
When real opportunities come,
People look for those they can trust.
They seek good people
They recommend good people
They invest in good people
They build homes, businesses and lasting relationships
With good people.
Do not be deceived by the crowd that applauds your wrongdoing today
Tomorrow, they may choose someone with character and leave you behind.
Be a good person, even when goodness is not immediately rewarded.
Good character fit no pay today,
But tomorrow na good character
Go make people trust you with better opportunities.
