And because every part of the build, from hydraulics to electrics and painting, is completed in-house and managed on site, it’s also delivered on time.
>SAFETY & STANDARDS
True vehicle safety comes from functional body builds and a proper safety accreditation regime. Vehicles arriving at TL Engineering today will return to the customer expertly fitted with proven products that have stood the test of time and the test of testing! All bullbars, rollbars, trays, towbars and cargo barriers are tested to ensure they complement the safety features of the vehicle. TL also commissions external engineers to approve all uniquely modified vehicles and buses. Can all vehicle body builders offer this?
>BACKUP & SERVICE
Within a few hours of being deployed, most of our clients’ vehicles are being used for what they were designed: Tipper trucks are scratched and dirtied from their loads and wheelchair lifts cycle up and down many, many times a day. It’s after this initial running in period that the inherent quality and efficiency of a modified vehicle will be proven during normal everyday use. And this is what TL vehicles are designed and built for: To be used safely and efficiently, every day. Should issues or the need for fine-tuning arise, TL Engineering backs up all its products and work with pride.

This 2026 Isuzu FVY 260-300 AT R67 is on the ground and ready to test drive today.
6x4 on the XLWB chassis, Allison 6-speed auto, GVM 26T, GCM 36T, payload around 9T. The tray runs 8100mm long, 5mm chequer plate floor, container twistlocks fitted.
Up front, an HMF 1920-K4 does the lifting. 16.8 tonne-metre, 12.7 metre reach at 1,170kg, max lift 3,740kg, with RCL 5500 control and HMF Connect data logging built in from day one.

Paint isn't just the finish. It's the layer standing between the steel and everything trying to wear it down.
Every coating on a vehicle has one job before it has any other job: keep the elements off the steel underneath. Salt, sun, gravel, chemicals, vibration. All of it is trying to get in.
