6 weeks of being a firsttime mum and 6 things I’ve learnt so far…
I’m definitely not an expert, I’m learning every day!! But these little reminders have helped me settle into motherhood, trust myself and soak up this beautiful newborn bubble✨
To every mum finding her feet, questioning herself or simply doing her best through the tired days, you’re doing an amazing job. Give yourself grace, trust that you know your baby and remember that you matter too.
You’re doing better than you think 🤍
What’s something motherhood has taught you?
Can we bottle this😭

10 things that helped me survive the first 3 weeks with a newborn, and by survive, I mean navigate the beautiful, exhausting, emotional little newborn bubble✨
I’m only three weeks in, so I definitely don’t have it all figured out. But these are the little things that have genuinely made the biggest difference for me so far.
Slowing down, accepting help, staying fed and hydrated, getting outside, prioritising recovery and letting go of the pressure to be anywhere or do anything other than be a mum right now.
I’ve also realised just how important your people are. A supportive husband, friends dropping off meals and checking in, Mum visiting and helping wherever she can, and my sisters being there for me (even from another country) 🤍
Three weeks of learning as I go, soaking up the tiny moments and figuring out this new version of life together.
Maybe one of these will help another new mum too 🫶🏼
Well hello there 🏥👶🏼
Pregnancy challenged my body in the most incredible way. Now it’s my turn to give back to it✨
I stayed active throughout my pregnancy because movement makes me feel strong, capable and connected to my body. It was never about chasing PBs or aesthetics, It was about supporting my body through one of the biggest physical changes it will experience.
Now that baby Colton is here, my focus has shifted. Recovery isn’t about “bouncing back”… it’s about rebuilding💪🏼
After 9 months of growing a baby and a natural vaginal birth, my body deserves time, patience and the right guidance. As excited as I am to get back to Pilates, strength training and running, I know that rushing this stage could create problems later.
So I’m following a structured postpartum rehab program to reconnect with my pelvic floor, deep core, breathing and movement before returning to harder training.
Every Natal Nurture session is helping me rebuild the foundations that carried me through pregnancy and birth. The work I do now is an investment in returning to the things I love feeling strong, confident and without unnecessary setbacks.
We spend so much time preparing for birth, but postpartum deserves just as much care🤍

It feels so good to finally be sharing this with you…
Episode one of my ‘Pregnancy Podcast Series’ drops tomorrow, July 9th🎙️🔥
We’re going right back to the beginning, before pregnancy even started. I’ll be sharing my health journey, my diagnoses, the fertility conversations that made me question whether I’d ever become a mum, and everything that led us to start trying for a baby.
I honestly can’t wait to share this series with you and have you along for the journey.
Over the coming weeks, I’ll be taking you through my pregnancy journey in chronological order, with each episode covering a different chapter along the way.
We’ll start with my health history, endometriosis, adenomyosis, Crohn’s disease and fertility, before moving into preconception, trying to conceive ( with a feature from my husband Adam on mens health and fertility), the first trimester, second trimester, third trimester, navigating a big baby, preparing for birth, and everything in between.
These episodes aren’t about having all the answers or telling anyone how pregnancy should look. They’re simply my experience, what surprised me, challenged me, taught me, and the lessons I’ve learnt along the way.
So many of you followed this journey with me on Instagram, especially after my first trimester video reached so many people. The messages, conversations and support I received reminded me how important it is to share these stories honestly, and that’s what inspired this series.
I can’t wait to have you along for the journey!
