Blue Light™ is an extension of PCYC working with WA Police to support youth in regional WA.
Carnarvon sure knows how to throw a hoedown 🤠
From families boots scootin’ on the dance floor to happy smiles during games, it was wonderful to see everyone who joined our Family Hoedown have a night of fun!
A big thank you to the Shire of Carnarvon , Carnarvon PCYC , Mid West - Gascoyne District - WA Police Force and everyone who helped make the night so special 💙
The excitement in their voices and the genuine warmth of the Joondalup District officers, every bit of it was pure gold 🥹✨
We’re so grateful Blue Light WA® gets to be part of moments like this. Nights that stay with these kids long after the Blue Light Disco 💙🚔
The amazing officers joined us at our Disco in North Woodvale Primary School and showed how WA Police is like no other. We truly appreciated their dedication in creating positive memories between the young people and WA Police 💙🚔
We can’t wait to share the rest of the event along with all the amazing people behind it.

Thanks to the generous support of Greatland Resources Ltd, our Jigalong BlueLight WA® Unit brought discos to Jigalong, Kunawarritji and Punmu.
For some kids, it was their first disco in years, and the smoke machine was a hit none of them will forget ✨
While we were there, we discovered something special: BlueLight WA® had been mentioned in the lyrics of this incredible music video by Rawa Community School.
BlueLight WA® is about being part of a community’s story, its memories and its people. That’s what we’ve built together with WA Police, and moments like this make it all worthwhile.
Thank you, Greatland Resources Ltd, for your ongoing support including helping send Jigalong kids to junior football in Newman in 2027 and thank you to everyone involved in the music video for including BlueLight WA® in the lyrics 💙
What an amazing turnout! Thank you to everyone for all the support and we can’t wait to see you soon 🏀✨

What an incredible event to be a part of! 🏀
We were proud to support the launch of Hoops at the Station, held at the Broome Police Station. It was fantastic to see so many young people connecting with their local police officers, community organisations and each other through a fun, positive afternoon of basketball.
A huge thank you to everyone who helped make the event such a success, especially Nirrumbuk Aboriginal Corporaiton, Royal Life Saving Society WA, Hoops in the Streets - 3on3 Championship 2025, Kimberley Branded,Talent Pool Broome, Kimberley District - WA Police Force, Broome PCYC, and all of the community members who came along and got involved.
We can't wait to see this initiative continue to grow and look forward to supporting more events like this in the future! 💙
There’s nothing better than seeing so many smiling faces 🤩💙
Thank you to everyone who played a part in this event. Every helping hand made a difference, creating a day filled with smiles that will last long after the event and that’s what Blue Light is all about ✨

💙We recently received some wonderful feedback following a Blue Light WA Emergency Services Incursion Day in Salmon Gums, facilitated by the Norseman Blue Light Unit:
"Just wanted to pass on a big thank you to you and the crew that came along to our school last Thursday. Students would not stop talking about how much fun they had – trying on the uniforms, turning on the siren, whacking the riot shield, and spraying the water hose. They were all so engaged, and it was a great way for you guys to be seen in a positive way rather than the students only interacting with you when something has 'gone wrong'."
A huge thank you to Constable Rick and the team for making such a positive impact in the community. This is what Blue Light WA is all about! 💙🚓
