WesCarpade 2026!

To recap the results - $455,000 raised by the WesCarpade community in 2026, $6,100 raised by Team Russell, eight days travelling through the beautiful South West, more than 2,500km, 21 wacky cars, 70 Weskies and enough laughs, mud, dust and questionable outfits to last us until next year! 😂

From Bunbury through Manjimup, Augusta, Walpole, Albany, Katanning and Pinjarra, before finishing at Whiteman Park and the Motor Museum of WA, this year’s WesCarpade was one hell of a ride and we enjoyed every minute!

We tackled beautiful forest tracks, gravel roads, muddy climbs, river crossings and some seriously stunning WA scenery. There were plenty of moments that tested the cars (except Bumblebee in limiter), the crews and probably a few friendships along the way (I'm not driving through that Dean!)🤣

But as much as the driving, the costumes, the pranks and the roadside chaos make WesCarpade what it is, the real reason we do this is Camp Quality and the familes they support.

This year, Team Russell was incredibly proud to raise $6,100 towards helping Camp Quality bring fun, positivity and unforgettable experiences to children facing cancer and their families.

Special mention to Taylor Ellis our Course Director and his Dad Mark, these guys are out multiple times a year driving random tracks to put together the course that we follow. Year on year the tracks get better, the scenery is amazing and the variety of what we drive through blows me away - what you guys do is next level, Thank You!

The cars might be heading back to the shed, but the memories will stick around for a long time.

DAY 7 UPDATE
Yesterdays adventure - Katanning to Pinjarra

Second last day is always bitter-sweet as we edge towards the end of our adventure.

Canola firmly on show as we pass by, worlds greatest fashion show, we also passed by Logue Brook and crossed the dam wall.

No mud or bogs yesterday, fingers crossed for today 🤞

The trip ends TODAY at midday at the Whiteman park motor Museum.

DAY 6
Albany to Katanning via Stirling Ranges

A great day yesterday travelling through the Stirling Ranges and along a small part of the Holland Track, passing through woodlands and entering farming country.
The theme for dinner was Wild Child / Animal Print.

We also had a school visit at Spencer Park Primary to kick of the day!

Day 4 Walpole to Albany
(Delayed again, sorry!)

Started the day with a primary school visit, where the kids enjoyed seeing all the themed cars and some fun giveaways!

Then it was time to hit the road!

After getting a few kms under the belt, we stopped at the Team Thomas Red Vault "Roadside" Cafe, for some delicious treats, all of which were gluten free and taste absolutely amazing!!

After a quick snack, we hit some serious mud tracks which left Russell a different colour on exit than entry! The cleanup is going to fun 😬.

Afterwhich a straight run through state forrest to Muttenbird Beach for the 2026 wesCarpade Grand Prix.

We finished the night celebrating the 60th Birthday of a Wescarpade Veteran and Captain of Team Kombi, the illustrious Darren "Scary" Kenny in true 60's style!

What a massive day, fortunately Wednesday was a day of rest in Albany before we hit the tracks again Thursday!

DAY 3 UPDATE
(DELAYED)

Day 3 saw us back in the forests, travelling from Augusta to Walpole via Pemberton.

We had a great stop at the Pemberton tramway and visited the Cascades, then hit the road again and headed through the tall trees and an awesome powerline track.

Mud, dust, dirt and water - all part of the fun of wesCarpade!
