As Skin_ko celebrates its 5th anniversary, I’ve been thinking a lot about how grateful I am for all of you. Without your support and love, neither Skin_ko nor I would be here today.

My first business started 13 years ago in Perth City, selling Australian products like wool, honey, chopping boards, and UGG to customers in Korea and oversea tourists. I loved sharing products, writing blogs, sourcing items, and connecting people with things I truly believed in.

Then COVID-19 changed everything.

With tourism gone and overseas sales slowing down, and market had changed a lot. I had to rethink another step . That’s when one idea kept coming back to me: Korean skincare.

Five years ago, Skin_ko was born.

Back then, K-beauty wasn’t as accessible as it is today. I wanted to introduce Korean skincare not as a trend, but as part of an everyday routine something simple that helps us care for ourselves.

Today, Korean skincare is everywhere, and I love seeing that. But Skin_ko will always be special to me.

Skin_ko is a reflection of who I am passionate, hardworking, and deeply committed to understanding every product I bring into the store.

And just as I always have, I want to continue this journey with you.

Because skincare isn’t magic.
It’s not vanity.
It’s not about chasing perfection.

It’s a small act of self-care.
A daily habit.

I promise to keep bringing you products that are useful, effective, and worth your trust.
