A French cutlery story, close to our heart.
Many years ago, during a special chapter of family life in France, we visited Laguiole and watched traditional knives and cutlery being crafted by artisan couteliers and renowned French cutlery houses.
That experience stayed with us - the skill, the heritage, the quiet beauty of pieces made to be used, loved and gathered around.
Since opening Malmaison in 2003, we have proudly stocked Laguiole by Jean Dubost, a French cutlery house with more than a century of craftsmanship behind it.
We’ve shared more of this story on the Malmaison blog, from our family connection to France to the culinary beauty of Jean Dubost and the timeless pieces we continue to love today.
