PCM Group Proudly Supporting Future Champions🏁

PCM Group were proud sponsors of the Junior Heavy and KT Light class at the Ken & Ces Ditchfield Memorial Open on the 23rd & 24th May.

The winner for Junior Heavy was Nate Pearson who started the weekend with the quick time in qualifying. Nate then went on to win his first heat, followed by an unfortunate DNF in his second heat and then finishing off day one with a 3rd place finish from the back of the field. This put him into the top 6 after day one.

Nate was lucky to draw P2 in the pole shuffle, taking to position 1 in the first corner to hold the lead for the remainder of the dash. Starting out of pole for the final, Nate got a great start and lead from lap one, finishing with a 2.6 second lead from second place.

The winner of KT Lights was Tyler McQuilkin whose weekend didn’t start off great but made a good recovery on the second day. Starting out of P9 in the feature, Tyler worked his way through the field and with a quarter of a lap to go, got to the lead and finished in 1st place.

PCM’s own Jarrad Pearson was quickest in the 125 Heavy class receiving the quick time award and had heat wins in multiple classes over the weekend.

Chloe Pearson also competed in KT Lights over the weekend and finished in 7th place, a great result for her first Ken & Ces memorial.
