At times it’s like watching & listening to an early & raw incarnation of Metallica with Clint Hodges growling his way through vocals all the while head banging in between verses… quite a feat. Backed by Nathan Valverde (drums) & Ethan Broadbent (bass) Spudgun are an out & out party band who just want you to have the best of times and tonight they ensured we all did just that. Spudgun embody the crazy unpredictable nature of The Stooges, with the maniacal frontman Clint Hodges leading the charge. Nathan Valverde on drums just pounding away with Grohl-esque enthusiasm and power and bass player Ethan Broadbent fills out the rest of the stage with his energy, solid backing vocals and shenanigans as well.
