At Design Better Buildings we are committed to providing individuals with a positive home design and building experience. After all creating a living space that reflects who you are should be exciting, not fraught with tears and stress. Director, Mario Figliomeni, has been in the design and building industry for over twenty five years and is as passionate today as he was when he first started. He loves being able to help each client realise their dream; a home they adore. Mario is a registered builder and designer and has been a member of the Building Design Association for over two decades. This extensive experience not only ensures that he provides each client with the right guidance and advice but gives him an in-depth understanding of the nature of home building and an eye for creating cost effective and aesthetically pleasing homes. And, let’s be honest, who doesn't want a beautiful and affordable home. Mario and the talented team at Design Better Buildings aren't sales people. This 3 storey apartment complex was designed by DBB, we managed to fit 6 apartments on a lot of approx 450msq.
Apartments can be challenging not just from a deign perspective but also in trying to meet all the council requirements including things like fire regs, accoustic requirements, hydraulic requirements to name just a few.

This 4 townhouse development was designed by DBB and has e recently been completed, each lot is less than 160msq, we managed to comfortably fit a 3x2 townhouse on this size lot.

This home is a perfect example of good things can come in small packages, boasting 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and is being built on a cottage lot and has all the impact of a much larger home with its imposing elevation and vaulted ceilings to the living areas

I had the opportunity to meet my clients on site to checkout the progress of their stunning home designed by DBB in collaboration with our client.
The layout is only half the job, the other half is the finishes, Ash and Jason have done an amazing job with the colour and material selections. Looking forward to visiting when its finally completed😬😬

Client brief was for a contemporary elevation, and living areas to take advantage of expansive city views from the front as well insuring connection to rear court yard.
