A new chapter for Dobbie.

After 16 years as General Manager of Dobbie, Bruce Swan has stepped back from the role as part of a planned leadership transition. We are pleased to welcome Mark Richards as Dobbie’s new General Manager, taking responsibility for the day-to-day management of the business.

Mark brings more than 35 years of experience across manufacturing and engineering, having led businesses throughout Australia and Asia. A trade-qualified boilermaker, Mark brings a practical, hands-on approach to leadership, with a strong focus on developing people, building strong teams and continuing to improve the business.
While stepping back from the General Manager role, Bruce will continue his association with Dobbie as Defence Manager, supporting our ongoing Defence activities and maintaining his involvement with Standards Australia technical committees.

We would like to sincerely thank Bruce for his leadership, commitment and contribution to Dobbie over the past 16 years, and look forward to the experience and perspective Mark brings as he leads Dobbie into its next chapter.
