On Friday 14th August we celebrated our Sports Carnival Day, the weather was amazing making it a fantastic day for everyone involved. Students, teachers and parents all enjoyed the event, with great sportsmanship displayed throughout the day. Congratulations to Earth faction who were the overall winners on the day!

What an incredible week of curiosity, discovery and hands-on learning we had at Carnaby Rise Primary School as we celebrated National Science Week 2026 – “Seeds of Science: Nurturing Knowledge for All.”
💥 We started Monday with a BANG with an action-packed incursion from Supersonic Science! Students were treated to an exciting show featuring explosions, fire, and plenty of amazing science – the perfect way to launch our week!
🎨🌱 Science and Art came together beautifully throughout the week, with students contributing to a special progressive art display showing the life cycle of a plant – from seed, through growth and flowering, all the way to seed dispersal. It was wonderful to see the display develop as the week progressed and showcase how science can be explored through creativity and art.
It was fantastic to see our whole school community immersed in Science Week 2026 – asking questions, investigating, designing, experimenting and, most importantly, having fun with science!
A huge thank you to our staff, students and families for helping make Science Week such a wonderful celebration at Carnaby Rise PS.

SCIENCE EXPO – TOMORROW! 🧪

We are excited to invite parents and families to our Science Expo tomorrow from 2:00pm–3:00pm! 🎉

Come along and see the fantastic science projects our students have been working on during national Science week.

Important: For security purposes, all parents and visitors must enter through the school office and then proceed straight to the Undercover Area to view the students’ work.

We look forward to welcoming you and sharing our students’ fantastic work! 🌟

Thank you to everyone who has donated their cans or non-perishable food items so far! We have collected well over 130 items so far and can't wait to see our final total.
The City of Wanneroo leadership team is working on releasing a song and music video to promote their project.
Stay tuned for the release of the sure to be smash hit, “Who's got a can now".

SCIENCE WEEK IS COMING!
Get ready for a week of curiosity, discovery and a whole lot of fun!
We’re excited to celebrate Science Week with a range of activities for our students and families, including:
Science Expo – Come along and explore, discover and be amazed as our students showcase their scientific learning and investigations!
At-Home Science Competition – We’re inviting our budding scientists to get creative and complete our fun Science Week challenge from home. We can’t wait to see what you come up with!
Science Incursion – A special hands-on science experience is coming to school! Please remember to make your payment through QKR to secure your child’s participation.
