The PB2714 spider lift tracked straight in through a standard glass entry at St John of God Midland Public Hospital, then set up in the courtyard right next to the railway themed playground.

Folded in, it fits through doorways and along footpaths where a scissor or a truck mounted unit has no chance. Legs out on the paving, it is steady enough to send the basket up the face of the building while the hospital carries on underneath.

Narrow access usually just means picking the right machine.

33m of working height and 15m of reach, set up on the pool deck and working out over the water. No scaffold going up over the pool.

That up-and-over reach is the whole reason this machine gets the call. The articulating telescopic boom puts the basket high and out at the same time, so our operator can get to the sail edge from above instead of wrestling it from underneath.

Perth is warming up and the pools are about to get busy. Shade structures are worth sorting now rather than in January.

Not the usual job for the 27-14.

Our spider lift went out to help with the rescue of an Australasian Darter. The non-marking rubber tracks meant it could set up straight onto the lawn without tearing it up, and the reach did the rest.
