Here’s What You Need to Know

You may start hearing that scan-to-email on photocopiers is stopping.

That’s not a rumour.

Microsoft is changing how devices are allowed to send email through Microsoft 365.

From March 2026, older username-and-password logins for scan-to-email will be turned off.

❌ This does not affect everyone
✅ It only affects businesses where scan-to-email is sent through Microsoft 365 / Exchange using a stored username and password
✅ If Microsoft isn’t involved in sending your scans, this change doesn’t apply

🔑 The photocopier isn’t broken.
Microsoft changed the lock — and new keys are needed.
