Although watching from the couch definitely wasn't the same… I wish we could have been there at the game live! 🏉

Tonight was exactly what I needed 🤍🎨

A Paint & Sip with one of my favourite people, plenty of laughs and a few hours where we could just switch off from everything else.

No kids asking for snacks 😂
No work
No responsibilities
Just good company, painting and probably questioning our artistic abilities 🤣🎨

Life gets so busy, and sometimes you need to actually make time for the people who make you laugh and remind you that you’re more than just Mum, wife and everything else you have to be.

So grateful for this friendship 🤍

A little afternoon with my boy 🤍

I grabbed myself a bubble tea and took my eldest to one of his appointments this afternoon, but before we went, we got to spend some really special one on one time together.

We even picked out a bike for his little brother’s birthday coming up 🚲

Sometimes I really miss the days when it was just me and him. When we spent every waking moment together and it was just the two of us navigating life side by side.

And sometimes I feel a little sad that life has changed.

But those feelings can exist alongside being incredibly grateful for the life God has given me now.

My husband. My three boys. Our family. 🤍

I have such a special bond with my eldest, and I hope he always knows just how incredibly proud I am of him.

His autism is a part of his story, but it does not define who he is.

He is funny, clever, kind, determined and has such a beautiful heart.

Most importantly, I get to watch him grow in his faith and become an incredible young man of God.

I don’t know exactly what his future will look like, but I know God has a purpose for his life.

And I feel incredibly blessed that I get to walk beside him as he discovers it. 🙏🏼🤍

Before anyone thinks I’m being a tight ass and only giving my husband a tiny amount of product 😂😂

There is actually a method to my madness!

When he’s on site, things can go missing. And these products aren’t exactly something I want disappearing into the depths of a mine site 😂

So I’m not risking sending the full size bottles with him.

He only needs about a 5c piece size of shampoo and conditioner each wash, and he washes his hair every 3ish days. The serums only need a couple of drops, so these little bottles actually contain plenty to get him through this swing and probably the next one too!

It’s my first time doing this since getting my Monat products, and honestly…I think I’ve just solved one of my little FIFO problems 😂

He gets everything he needs, I keep my full size products safely at home, and we don’t have to buy two of everything.

Now I just need to remember to buy that dropper bottle for the IR Hair Defense Serum before his next swing because clearly I wasn’t quite this organised this time 😂

The hugs never get easier, but we’ve definitely learned to make the most of every minute before he leaves.

Including apparently squeezing in one last PlayStation game 😂🎮

It’s the little bits of normal life that make the goodbyes a little easier.

And then just like that… he’s off again.

Counting down until we get him home 🤍
