PAT ART

I adhere to truthfulness in artistic language; exploiting material and it's ptoperties by showcasing its characteristics. I approach my practice in a methodical fashion, paying attention to planning, preliminary journaling and final ex*****on coupled with intense refinement. My work might start out with an initial idea, which might have been based on something visual, but this tends to manifest into something which embodies a paradoxical question coupled with a philosophical stance. I think this approach has slowly matured over time and pays homage to my experience of the world, the people closest to me and the places I have visited. My work will always strive to free it's medium's from figurative and anthropomorphic representation thus allowing purity in material and formation to prevail.
