This message challenged us to consider what it truly means to follow Jesus. Drawing from Matthew 16, we’re reminded that following Christ is not simply a one-time decision, but a daily choice to want Jesus, deny ourselves, take up our cross and follow Him.

The message emphasised that Jesus is not looking to keep score of our failures. His grace gives us the opportunity to repent, grow and keep moving forward. When we surrender our own desires and live with an eternal perspective, we discover the life we were created for.

Friday Night Fire is a Spirit-led evening for believers who are hungry for more of God and want to be challenged, refreshed and stirred to live boldly for Christ.

Come expecting a night of encounter, repentance, freedom and the moving of the Holy Spirit. 🙌🏻

This is a space to lay down distractions, seek God wholeheartedly and make room for Him to speak into your life, purpose and calling.

🔥 Come hungry. Come expectant. Come ready for more.

Please note: There will be no children’s facilities available during Friday Night Fire, so parents/carers will need to make alternative arrangements for children.

This message explored what it means to represent Christ well by knowing Him more deeply. Through Isaiah 40, we’re reminded that repentance is a gift and an ongoing process that turns us back towards God’s love, helping shape us into people who reflect Him.

The message gave five steps of repentance: receive, reimagine, recognise, repent and retrain. As we receive God’s love, surrender control, recognise where we fall short, turn back to Him and retrain our patterns, we are transformed and positioned to live as effective ambassadors of Christ.
