While culture is marked by fear, criticism and transactional love, God calls His Church to be different—built on faith, hope and love. Biblical hope isn’t wishful thinking or optimism; it’s a confident expectation rooted in the promises and character of God. As followers of Jesus, we are called to carry hope into every situation and reflect His light to a world searching for something lasting.

Ps Rob

This Sunday we were challenged to rethink what biblical love really is. Ps Rob reminded us that the love Jesus commands is not based on feelings, convenience or whether it is returned. It is a choice of obedience. Through John 13, Proverbs 17 and Romans 13, we were reminded that we are called to love one another as Christ has loved us—standing with one another in times of adversity, praying for one another, extending grace, and choosing love even when it’s difficult. We don’t love because people deserve it; we love because Christ first loved us. And the greatest picture of that love is this: Jesus didn’t just die for us—He died instead of us.
