Our design philosophy is to create brands of the heart - brands which engage, excite and evoke a personal response. Brought together through design, directors Geoff Bickford and Tracy Kenworthy became partners in life and work in 1987. Establishing the studio and building client relationships (some now spanning more than 20 years), this boutique studio comprises a close-knit team of designers deeply committed to creative design solutions with a difference. The Dessein team springs from diverse cultural backgrounds, religions and travel experiences - a melting pot of Korean, Italian, Indian and mostly Australian - swirling and twirling into a bottomless pool of design inspiration waiting for the opportunity to see the light of day. Pooling the creative collective across branding, signage, websites, publications, packaging and exploring new posibilites excites us every day. We relish a challenge and never more so than when our clients not only love the design but also the results they bring. when that challenge results in an award - be it at a state, national or international level - it gives us a buzz and reaffirms the confidence we have in ourselves to continue exploring and realising our ideas.

Meetings buzzing with creativity, digital prints coming to life, and an annual report finally off the desk and into the world. 🎉 And just when you think the year is winding down, the magic of Christmas planning starts to sprinkle in! ✨🎄 Here’s to juggling deadlines and dreaming up festive wonders!
If you're a fan of nuts, you may have noticed WA's iconic brand Morish Nuts has had a makeover.
The roll out as been gradual and is still a work in progress, but bringing new life to the Morish peanut character and introducing new ones for each of the nuts in the family sure is fun.

Celebrating 40 years of Whiteman Park.
A milestone identity inspired by the park’s unique bushland, bringing together native flora, wildlife and the much-loved motorbike frog.
Designed as a flexible system, the mark extends across campaign material and includes additional icons such as a grass tree, a black cockatoo and a wallaby, celebrating this iconic location’s enduring role in conservation, recreation and education.
We're excited to share that Dessein has made the Pentaward 2026 Shortlist in the Food Category.
