And once again being on the lucky side of the country, ours have not increased as much.
But early indications are, the budget of chaos is delivering exactly the opposite to what they said would happen.
It appears to me to be 1985’ 86’ revisited all over again!

Stay calm. Don't act too quickly, and don't listen to the prophets of doom. Most of the weakness is currently centred in the eastern states. 🏡
Back in 1985/86, the government did an about-face, and New Zealand has made similar policy reversals in recent years. With so much uncertainty and a loss of confidence, there is every chance we could see something similar happen here. 🔄

Dispelling WA’s Development Dilemmas
👏 What a brilliant presentation and showing us all how to strategically do better in this challenging Perth property market! Very well done Tanya Steinbeck GAICD and team UDIA National. 👏
From John Carey MLA revealing the proposed revisions to the R-Codes and reducing red tape and approval time, whilst even addressing the broader challenges of culture within some departments. Other noted speakers highlighting property development from the perspectives of current labour, fuel and material shortages to how EPA, local government, WAPC and other bodies are now taking a more collaborative approach to private enterprise, to help unravel the Red Tape.

Death Duties, Divorce Tax and Devious Taxable Duties ⚖️💰
Unfortunately, we continue to unpack the "budget of chaos", with serious consequences in some instances.
Take the time to read this detailed report from one of Australia's leading finance experts, Noel Whittaker. Around 20 years ago, I had the pleasure of having Noel as the keynote speaker at an event we hosted at Burswood, and I certainly can attest to his all round financial and taxation knowledge.
As we continue to examine the lack of thought, or perhaps the deliberate loopholes within this budget, it becomes even more alarming.
The prospect of triggering Capital Gains Tax without even selling an asset could amount to a financial disaster for many unsuspecting Australians. Unbelievably, they are revisiting the unrealised capital gain debacle for super funds which got famously dumped 🤥🤥🤥.
