What happens at our Beginners Workshops?
Arriving at City Farm, you are welcomed by a friendly Sambanista who gives you a name badge and offers you a tea or coffee.
We introduce ourselves and everyone picks up their first instrument.
Participants learn a simple rhythm, rotating through various instruments. You’ll get to try Low, Mid and High Surdo drums, shakers, tamborims, and bells.
Then we finish off with a big jam!
