Big big bears has been hanging in my studio for a little while and I am really happy with the colour palette I chose. I am a big lover of brights but sometimes you just need a little calm and I love how the earthy neutrals of the background fabrics bring the peace and then the delicious pops of colour on the bears and fish bring the party for the day! Just how I like it x x

Some fun details from the new Big Big bears quilt pattern. The appliqué for this quilt was all cut using a ScannNCut and then machine blanket stitched before I finally quilted it - I always colour match my embroidery threads to the appliqué as it is the best way to hide any imperfections!

Hello Sassy Cat! This homage to my crazy ginger cat has been released this weekend at the Australian Quilt Market trade fair. It was such a fun quilt to make and would look amazing in any colour scheme to match your feline friend!
