At K2Dance, one of our greatest joys is watching our beautiful dancers grow into inspiring teachers who return to give back to the next generation. We are incredibly proud to have educators who are not only passionate teachers but are also continuing their professional training at tertiary level and within the dance industry.

A huge congratulations to our beautiful Miss Edie and Miss Leila, who are both currently studying a Bachelor of Dance at WAAPA (Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts) and have been selected to complete Semester 2 in New York as part of WAAPA’s international exchange program. 🇺🇸🗽

This is an outstanding achievement and a true testament to their talent, dedication and excellence as young artists. We couldn’t be prouder!

Today marks their final day of teaching at K2Dance for 2026 before they embark on this incredible adventure. They will both return to our K2Dance family in 2027, and we can’t wait to welcome them home.

To ensure continuity of learning and care for all of our students, all of Miss Edie and Miss Leila’s classes have been team-taught throughout the year, with Miss Poppy joining our teaching team a few weeks ago to support a seamless transition.

Please join us in wishing Miss Edie and Miss Leila the most incredible experience in New York. We know they will represent themselves, WAAPA and K2Dance with pride, and we can’t wait to follow every step of their journey. 🩵✨

ROBBIE KMETONI ⚡️
A powerhouse in the Australian commercial dance industry, Robbie is renowned for his explosive choreography, incredible performance quality and work with major artists, television productions and leading commercial projects. His energy is infectious and his classes push dancers to another level.

A true icon of Australian contemporary dance, Natalie has spent decades shaping the next generation of dancers through her extraordinary artistry, choreography and teaching. MARKO PANZIC 👑
One of Australia’s most celebrated choreographers, Marko has choreographed for some of the world’s biggest artists including Jennifer Lopez, Ricky Martin, Kelly Rowland, Jessica Mauboy and Justice Crew, while also serving as Creative Director for major productions around the globe. His creativity, vision and passion continue to inspire dancers worldwide.

To have these incredible artists walking through the doors of K2Dance in one single month is something truly special. 💙
