The Geismar AMBER and AMBER-T are both lightweight, hand-pushed digital track geometry recording trolleys that display measurements via a smartphone or PDA. The core difference is that the standard AMBER focuses on basic track parameters like gauge and cross-level, while the AMBER-T adds an 8-foot (2.5 m) measurement arm for advanced horizontal and vertical alignment (versine) recording.

🔸Design & Build: Ergonomic Aluminium construction weighing around 22 kg (heavier than the base GRP model due to the alignment arm).

Ultimately, initiatives like RU OK? reminds us that you do not need to be an expert to make a difference, as a simple conversation can change a life.

We gathered today to not only remind our team how important they are but also to take a moment to remember Mr. Ross Kiesey (Key Source Rail Owner/Director) who passed away on the 22nd April 2022. Ross would would have turned 70 years old today and we miss him very much.

At Key Source Rail, we want to build a culture where checking in on each other isn’t just something we do once a year. It’s a habit of asking RU OK? and starting the conversation to encourage communication and openness.

We asked each of our team members what they do to relax and support their mental health:

Who knew our team did so many different activities to support their mental health. Well-done team 💙

GEISMAR Rail Industry Technologies & Services – MEPHISTO Laser Survey Recorder

The Mephisto is a lightweight, portable laser surveying recorder designed for precise railway track positional measurement.

These operations are achieved by means of a swivelling laser fitted with an accurate screw-adjuster to reference marker posts or fixed infrastructure, calculating accurate track line, level, and overhead line (OHL) positions.

The operation of the Mephisto trolley can be intuitively controlled by the ergonomic wired remote keypad.

This unit consists of a light and easily assembled elements that are stored and transported in its customized transit case.

Our team gathered for a 𝘾𝙪𝙡𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙖𝙡 𝘼𝙬𝙖𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨 get-together recently, and apart from the assortment of dishes with flavours from around the world on offer, it was a great chance to reflect on why inclusion and tolerance are so vital to our daily work.

One of the Key Source Rail owners (Mrs. Anne Kiesey) gave a short speech about the importance of mutual respect and acceptance and that "when we prioritize understanding each other, we create a safer, more innovative, and more united workplace".

A few days before the event, we did a quick survey across our work areas to see where everyone traces their cultural roots. It turns out our team's heritage spans right across the globe:
