Playing at Karratha Indoor Golf, Royce got through an incredible 867 holes, while raising thousands of dollars for Pilbara mental health charity Dust & Adversity 👏👏👏 Well worth all the aches and pains, eh Royce?

Karratha man reclaims indoor golf world record - GolfWA Karratha golfer Royce Castano has reclaimed his world record for the highest number of virtual golf holes played in a 24-hour period.

Huge thanks to all who attended the recent WA launch event for the national Big Swings five-year strategy for Australian golf ⛳️

The event took place at Hamersley Golf Course, where more than 80 attendees from all facets of the WA golf sector gathered to gain an understanding of the role they can play in achieving the strategy’s goals.

There was even time for a hit on the range, where GolfWA state golfers Amie Phobubpa, Ruby Cotton and Valerie Khuu took on all-comers in various games of skill 🥳

GolfWA's Provincial Tournament is heading to Gingin GC on July 25-26.

The 36-hole stroke play championship is open to all women golfers with a handicap of 21.9 or lower. The entry fee is $52 per person.

The weekend will once again commence with an optional Canadian Foursomes Stableford event on Friday, July 24, at a cost of $46 per pair.

The 2026 WA Open Golf Championship is heading to the City of Rockingham for the first time in its long history when Secret Harbour Golf Links hosts the tournament from October 15-18.

First staged in 1913, the WA Open is our state’s oldest and most prestigious professional golf tournament.

The championship forms part of the Challenger PGA Tour of Australasia’s annual schedule, with past winners including Major champions Greg Norman, Gary Player and Ian Baker-Finch, as well as current LIV Golf star Elvis Smylie.
