And how do we know God?
1. Reading His Word and hearing His word preached to us
2. Looking around at creation
3. Seeing how He has worked in our own life in the past
Have I missed anything?

Know God, know He is faithful, gracious, wise, good, just, merciful and so much more, and trust Him through whatever comes your way.

God’s plan is for His glory and our good, and His glory is our good.

Could apply the same analogy for church attendance …
We can’t just go to church on special occasions. Consistent attendance to a church that preaches the solid Word and where believers keep each other accountable, is essential for your daily walk with Christ!
Just like daily reading, weekly churching, keeps our perspective on Christ and the truth. The further we are away from it, the more we tend to stray into worldly teaching!

The song epitomises the Christian life - we pray God takes away our suffering or trials, or those of ones we love, and we know He can… yet at the exact same time, we say that even if He doesn’t, we trust Him. Because His ways are bigger, and higher, than ours. He has a plan and it is good. And He has been faithful all our days, so we know He will continue to be.

We must make time for God, for the Word, for prayer, for being in wonder of His creation, for family, for service - the slower paced things. 🌸
