Kinetica was established in 2012 by a collective of circus, visual and performing artists. We are passionate circus enthusiasts who live to spin, contort, drop and balance for your entertainment. Open Times shown here demonstrate when classes are running, administration hours are between 9am and 5pm :)

It was so wonderful to have Fay and Anthony from Circus Sorbet join the mentoring team for Surge this year!
Circus Sorbet is a vibrant celebration of love and partnership, brought to life by the talented performers Anthony Tran and Fay MacFarlane. These two met and fell in love at Fringe World Perth 2015 though the magic of Kinetica. Since that fateful encounter, they’ve committed themselves to perfecting their craft, sharing both their art and lives on stage. The fusion of their unique styles captivates audiences with a mesmerizing blend of storytelling, stunning acrobatics, expressive dance, breathtaking aerial acts, and playful absurdity.
Their most recent production, SPYHARD, cemented this duo as a power house; winning Overall Best Circus Show at FRINGE WORLD 2025 and earned a prestigious Pick of the Week award at Adelaide Fringe 2026.

This superstar needs no introduction - hosting Surge this Sunday is the one and only KARL KAYOSS
Your boy from Ballajura” Karl Kayoss has been a Boylesque staple in Perth/ Boorloo for the last 13 years. After winning Mr Boylesque Australian in 2017, Karl hit the ground running and has become a well known name in the Australian Burlesque scene. This “Perth King of Boylesque” is know for many styles of performance including, circus and drag but also has a background in Dance and musical Theatre. In 2022, he was a Headliner for the Perth international burlesque festival.
Karl is the producer of many shows like “Kings of Boylesque”, “Filthy” and “The Boy From Ballajura”, all with award wins and 5 star reviews.
This back flipping, dark angel is ready to take you to the dark side, where you will never want to leave 🖤

From the Surge stage to professional productions - including performing for renowned companies such as Kinetica and Circus Rio - Sarah has continued her development and made a name for herself in the circus scene.
Sarah brings a signature blend of strength, flexibility and passion to every performance, and strives to elevate her craft while inspiring audiences, through exceptional artistry and refined technique.
Performing the finale at Surge on Sunday, Sarah will present a brand new hair-raising act… and is currently the only aerialist in Perth who can perform this unique skill!

⚡️Rolling into the performer announcements it’s HANNAH 🤩
Starting her circus training at age 7 at National Centre for Circus Arts in London, Hannah then specialised in static trapeze at the London Youth Circus. Expanding her circus repertoire, she graduated a BA (Hons) of Circus Arts specialising in trick bike and unicycle and then brought her unique mix of skills to Perth.
Bringing on-stage tricks and antics that will both atop your heart and make you laugh, Hannah can’t wait for everyone to see this ride!
