π΅ βTirimo munzira yenyika yo'penyu...β π΅
This hymn reminds us that we are all travellers on a journey. God calls us into covenant with Him, not only for our own salvation, but so that we may share His love and invitation with others.
Just as God called His people in the wilderness, and as Christ sends His disciples into the world, we too are called to live out a compassionate commission, reaching out to those who are weary, burdened, lost, or searching for hope.
"Funga iwe m'tadzi, haunakuraswa, tomira chinguva, timirire iwe."
What a beautiful picture of God's heart: patient, merciful, and always inviting. As we walk the path of faith, may we extend that same compassion to others, pointing them to Jesus, who alone can forgive, restore, and lead us into eternal life.

πΉβ¨ Rooted in Love || More Memories
A strong tree is not known by its leaves alone, but by the roots that sustain it. In the same way, relationships flourish when they are rooted in God's love.
As we look back on this wonderful evening, we are grateful for the joy, fellowship, wisdom, and beautiful memories shared. May the bonds strengthened that night continue to grow and bear fruit in our homes and communities.
πΈ Here are a few more moments from the event.

β½ One week ago, we came together on the football field for our Boys Mubatanidzwa soccer tournament, sharing fellowship, unity, laughter, and friendly competition.
But that was only the beginning. π
Something is quietly cooking in the background. A Youth Mubatanidzwa that aims to build not only friendships, but also our personal and spiritual lives. From the field to faith, from competition to communion. God continues to bring us together for a greater purpose.
Watch this space. ππ₯
βͺοΈ 3 DAYS TO GO! βͺοΈ
In just 3 days, we gather as one body of Christ for our Fellowship of Churches service.
βThat they may all be one, just as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You.β β John 17:21
CHOIR πΆHymn 96 "Wandiitirei Jesu?" πΆ
The choir's hymn reminded us of the heart of the Gospel: Christ left the glory of heaven, took on our humanity, and gave His life so that we might have life. This is the ultimate expression of God's covenant love and compassionate mission to save the world.
In Romans 5:8 we are reminded: "God demonstrates His own love for us in this: while we were still sinners, Christ died for us."
As those who have received such grace, may we answer Christ's call, follow Him faithfully, and share His love with others, just as He commissioned His disciples to do.
π What has Jesus done for us? Everything. What shall we do for Him? Follow Him and make Him known.
πΆHymn 1 "Pururudzai nyika dzose, imbai kuna Jehova!" πΆ
This hymn beautifully reflects this Sunday's theme of Covenant Calling and Compassionate Commission. We are called to joyfully worship the Lord, recognising that we are His people and the sheep of His pasture. Through His mercy and faithfulness, God has gathered us into His covenant and entrusted us with the mission of sharing His love with others.
Just as Jesus had compassion on the crowds and sent His disciples into the harvest (Matthew 9:35β10:8), we too are called to proclaim His goodness and invite others into His flock.
"Know that the Lord is God. It is He who made us, and we are His." β Psalm 100:3
May our worship lead us to faithful service and compassionate witness in God's world. πβ¨
πΎ Hymn 202 Wouya, Wouya, Mucheki Mukuru πΎ
This hymn reminds us that Christ, the Lord of the harvest, continues to call His people into His service. Through His great love and sacrifice, He invites us into a covenant relationship with God and commissions us to share His compassion with the world.
As Jesus looked upon the crowds with compassion and sent out His disciples (Matthew 9:35β10:8), so He calls us today to hear His voice, turn towards Him, and faithfully participate in His mission.
May we respond to His call with willing hearts and become instruments of His love and grace. ππΎ
