Celebrating our first Accomplished MCS cohort of the year – and welcoming the next!

Over the past two days, participants from the first cohort of the Accomplished Manager Corporate Services (MCS) program came together for rich learning, reflection and connection at Galup.

Facilitated by Kelly Michael from Beyond Leadership, the cohort explored their personal and organisational values and unpacked insights from a 360‑degree feedback survey. Participants shared how valuable it was to pause, reflect and apply practical leadership tools in a supportive environment. These photos from the last two days capture the energy, collaboration and thoughtful conversations across the group.

This program is designed for managers in corporate services roles who want to strengthen their leadership capability, self‑awareness and impact.

Registrations are now open for the next cohort, in term three. If you are an experienced MCS, and ready for the next level of your career progression, set aside time in August and September and register today: https://ikon.education.wa.edu.au/-/register-for-the-accomplished-manager-corporate-services-program

Days one and two of the Newly Appointed Managers Corporate Services Program brought together 25 new school leaders from across WA, including a strong regional cohort.

Day one focused on connection and shared experience.
Day two introduced a key feature of the program - mentoring.

Participants met their mentors, heard their stories, and began working together in small groups. These relationships provide practical support, perspective and a trusted network as participants step into complex leadership roles.

We closed day two in reflection, recognising the value of coming together – both as a cohort and as a statewide community of practice.

This cohort is now halfway through the program and will reconvene in June to continue the next stage of their leadership journey. Many thanks to Ben Calleja of Your CCSolutions for his expert facilitation, as always.
