Growth can look a lot like disappointing people who were comfortable with the old version of you. šŸ‘€

You’re allowed to change.
To want something different.
To outgrow old patterns.
To become someone you didn’t expect.

Not everyone will understand it — and that’s okay.

Sometimes your next move is simply choosing yourself. šŸ¤

Yoga isn’t about forcing your body into a shape.

It’s about learning to move with intention, breathe with awareness, listen inward, and trust the process.

Some days your practice feels strong.
Some days it feels slow.
Some days simply showing up is enough.

There’s no perfect way to practice.
Just an invitation to come back to yourself, one breath at a time. 🌿

What’s one thing your practice has taught you?

Yoga was never just about the shapes. šŸ§˜ā€ā™€ļø

The word itself comes from the Sanskrit root *yuj*, meaning ā€œto joinā€ or ā€œto unite.ā€

To me, that’s the heart of the practice — coming back into connection with your body, your breath, your mind, and yourself.

Less about how the pose looks.
More about how you feel within it. 🌿

What does yoga mean to you?

Motherhood asks so much of you.

And somewhere between the feeding, carrying, giving, comforting, and caring, it can be easy to forget the woman underneath it all.

Yoga isn’t about finding your ā€œold selfā€ again.
It’s about making space for who you are now.

A few quiet breaths.
A little movement.
A moment to feel your body again.
A reminder that you matter, too. šŸ¤

Because you’re not *just* a mama.
You’re still a whole person, deserving of care, connection, and time to come home to yourself.

🌿 Your practice can be a place for that.

Some people do yoga for the aesthetic.

And there’s nothing wrong with loving the beauty of the practice. 🌿

But beneath the shapes, the flexibility, the pretty photos and the perfectly curated flows, there’s something deeper happening.

You’re learning to listen to your body.
To notice your breath.
To sit with discomfort without immediately running from it.
To slow down.
To come back to yourself.

Maybe the most powerful part of yoga is the part no one can see.

What has yoga taught you beyond the physical? šŸ¤

A little reminder for whatever season you’re in right now šŸ¤

You don’t need to rush your becoming.
You don’t need to perform your healing.
You don’t need to be at your best every day.

Sometimes the practice is simply coming back to yourself.

Save this for the days you need to hear it again. šŸ•Šļø

Yoga taught me that the practice isn’t about becoming more of anything.

It’s about coming home to what was already there. šŸ¤

Less proving. More presence.

A little reminder for your practice today šŸ¤

You don’t have to rush, compare, or push your way through. Sometimes the most powerful thing you can do is slow down, listen inward, and trust what your body is asking for.

Your practice is yours. Let it meet you exactly where you are. šŸ•Šļø

If yoga feels cringe to you, that’s okay šŸ˜‚

You don’t have to love the language, the aesthetic, the leggings, the incense or any of the other things that sometimes come with the yoga world.

But you also don’t have to understand someone else’s practice to respect it.

For me, yoga has never been about looking a certain way.

It’s about feeling more at home in my body, learning to breathe through discomfort, getting stronger, slowing down and remembering that I have a choice in how I meet myself and the world.

So call it cringe if you want…

I’ll be on my mat anyway. šŸ¤
