Finally I'm 40. I experience grief and joy at the same time.

Grief for the lost time over stress and worry that don't matter, yet happy as I'm surrounded by blessings I once prayed for.

Max brought me to Zeroverse + Zero Latency Perth for a "surprise birthday date" (2nd time as I didn't get the full experience last year as we had to bring Miriya along last year and she freaked out). This time I get to fully experienced it and needless to say it was so much FUN to purge some bugs. I don't mind doing it all over again with some friends because I like a good co-op!

The Animated movie (probably my first time knowing you can actually kick an abuser's ass in defence)
And playing Street Fighter II on our MicroGenuis which I need to fight with my brother alot to get to play because his bros comes first (misogyny was still prevalent in our household no doubt).

It’s fictional strong women like Chun-Li that inspired me to stay strong—not just physically, but mentally and spiritually. I don’t agree with her desire for revenge, but her resilience and pursuit of truth and justice are things I think we can all learn from. Especially when facing something as overwhelming as M. Bison—sometimes the battles and distractions in life feel just as big, and you realise you can’t do it alone.

As I reflect on my own walk through difficult seasons, I’ve found a steady sense of strength and comfort in my faith. It’s something that grounds me and helps me keep moving forward.

Are you looking forward to the movie?

Battle Sister squad from Max and Miriya. Cleaning brush holder from my SIL and family. A leather belt from the nephews. I'm thankful for the gifts, but even more grateful that we are all given the gift of redemption and everlasting life by the true Almighty. Happy Sanguinalia and Merry Christmas!

Crazy how this is the 18th year of HOBBYCON . I'm so thrilled to be back! Although I didn't manage to talk to everyone but still so grateful to be present and witness how much the community has flourished. Congratulations to the entire organising team and volunteers keeping HC alive and well. Special shoutout to FightSaber Sabah Rebel Legion Borneo Outpost for hosting Saber School again so we get to contribute a small part for it, preparing younglings who will take up the baton someday.
