★ The course is open every day, except Christmas day.
★ Bookings are only required for weekends and public holidays, and for large groups or corporate days.
★ Clubs are available for hire to go either on the course or to the driving range.
★ Club fitting is free if a pro is on duty and available. Just come in store and enquire at the counter.

Pull up a chair, you're going to love this one! On the menu tonight we have:
✨ Confit Salmon: Saffron blistered cherry tomatoes, king oyster mushroom, broccolini with orange and dill reduction
✨ Crispy Pork Belly: Velvety mash, tangy apple remoulade, with sweet-tart cranberry reduction
✨ House-Made Pan-Fried Gnocchi: Slow-roasted tomato passata, with basil and shaved Parmesan
✨ Chicken Cacciatore: Braised in a rich tomato sauce with Mediterranean vegetables, with soft polenta

After 12 weeks of watching grass grow, the new putting green is now OPEN!
The Whaleback greenkeeping team has worked extremely hard to get the green and surrounding area ready for everyone to enjoy and are really happy with the result!
A special shoutout to the green's designer, Jeff Lane, and shaper, Glenn Woolcock, for their support in this project.

The wait is over and Tales Bar & Eats is officially open! 🎉
Every great tale needs a great cast, so allow us to introduce one of our stars.
Meet the Tales Steak Sandwich: beautifully grilled steak layered with peppery rocket, creamy aioli, melted Swiss cheese, and a delicious beetroot relish, all nestled in a toasted panini and served with your favourite chips.

Course Renovation Update
The golf course will be closed from Monday 14 September to Thursday 17 September while our greenkeeping team carries out our annual spring renovation program.
Here's a look at everything we have planned:
⛳ Hollow coring and topdressing greens to keep them healthy and strong through the summer months
🏌️ Scarifying and hollow coring tees
🌳 Sand insertion on the 7 fairways with the poorest drainage (we trialled this on the driving range and the results were tremendous), plus scarifying across the remaining fairways to keep them tight and lush
Beyond the turf work, our contractors will also be on site pruning trees, laying new concrete paths, and there's a fun surprise being constructed on the 12th hole. We'll be sharing more on that soon, so stay tuned!
These practices are important to maintain quality playing surfaces for everyone to enjoy, and we appreciate your patience while the course recovers over the next few weeks.
P.S. Renovation rates will be in effect for the following ten days (Friday 18 to Sunday 27 September).

Please join us in welcoming Cerys, our new Senior Food and Beverage Officer at Whaleback, where she'll be overseeing service at both Tales Bar & Eats and The Pod Driving Range.
Cerys is, at heart, a people person. She thrives in fast-paced environments, values great teamwork, and genuinely loves building connections with those around her. Her experience spans cafes, breweries, weddings, and the not-for-profit sector, bringing a well-rounded and grounded perspective to everything she does.
When she's not busy making things run smoothly at Tales, you'll find her hiking, swimming at the beach, out on the water, or enjoying a camping trip.
