On Thursday night before the Women tip off, the Warwick Senators will be proudly honouring one of Senators most respected women's players in our clubs history by retiring the jersey of Emma Moscarda (Berryman).

For more than two decades, Emma Moscarda embodied everything the Warwick Senators stand for—as one mentality, loyalty, leadership, resilience, and selfless service. Beginning her SBL career in 2003, Emma went on to play 277 games for the Stirling and Warwick Senators and became one of the club's most respected figures. Emma notched up over 350 State League/NBL1 across her career. She left her basketball career on the highest note possible in 2022, leaving the game an NBL1 West and NBL1 National Champion.

Beyond her achievements on the court, Emma's impact extended through coaching, mentoring, and inspiring the next generation of Senators athletes and she is currently an assistant coach with the 2026 NBL1 Women's program.

Thursday, we proudly retire Emma's jersey in recognition of an extraordinary career and an immeasurable contribution to the Warwick Senators. Her number will forever serve as a symbol of excellence, commitment, and what it truly means to be a Senator.

We want to get as many people down to Warwick Stadium on Thursday to celebrate Emma, if you were a teammate of Emma's, a friend, family member, a coach, or even someone who watched her play, we want you there! This celebration will be held prior to the womens game at 6:30pm.

𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 𝐒𝐄𝐍𝐀𝐓𝐎𝐑𝐒 𝐖𝐈𝐍𝐃-𝐔𝐏

On Wednesday last week we had our 2026 Warwick Senators Wind-Up. It was a great night and many were celebrated.

Firstly, a huge congratulations to all the NBL1 and Open Championship award winners and congratulations on great seasons.

It was great to hear from Nat Burton as she officially announced her retirement. Thank you for your words on Wednesday night Nat, and congratulations again on a phenomenal career.

This year's wind-up was extra special as we had three life membership inductions. A huge congratulations to Tom Witts, Paul Bartlett and Emma Moscarda who were awarded life membership. Thank you Tom, Paul and Emma for everything you have done for the club and community over the years and congratulations again on this amazing achievement!

Finally, thank you to for having us and for the amazing food and drinks.

Registrations for Phase 1 of the WABL/State Championship trials is now open.

𝙏𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙧𝙚𝙜𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙞𝙨 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝘿𝙊𝙈𝙀𝙎𝙏𝙄𝘾/𝙉𝙊𝙉 𝙎𝙀𝙉𝘼𝙏𝙊𝙍𝙎 𝙒𝘼𝘽𝙇 𝙋𝙇𝘼𝙔𝙀𝙍𝙎 𝙤𝙣𝙡𝙮!

WABL trials for Warwick Senators Basketball Club are conducted each year during September and October, providing a structured environment for athletes to demonstrate their abilities. Teams are selected by a Coaching Panel, which carefully evaluates players based on criteria such as skill, athleticism, game sense, and sportsmanship.

After Phase 1 trials if you are selected/identified by a coach you will move to Phase 2 trials which will include all previous Senators WABL players & Invited players from Phase 1.

𝐏𝐑𝐄-𝐖𝐀𝐁𝐋 𝐂𝐀𝐌𝐏 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔

One (1) day program aimed at players aspiring to play WABL in 2026. Run by our WABL coaches, this program is focused on developing players in their fundamental skills in preparation for WABL trials in October. The primary areas of focus are passing, dribbling, shooting, one on one defence, and footwork.

U11 Girls (Born 2016/2017/2018): 9:30am - 11:00am
U11 Boys (Born 2016/2017/2018): 11:30am - 1:00pm
Location: Duncraig Recreation Centre
