We had an amazing time with all of our ocean loving teens, Ocean Institute Student Society (OISS) members, guest speakers and Blue Crew team. Our Youth Ocean Careers event was definitely a success!

Thank you to Inspiring Western Australia for making this possible. We were able to showcase the importance of our ocean connections to STEM opportunities in the growing blue economy.

We are looking forward to tomorrow's Ocean Careers Evening at the Indian Ocean Marine Research Centre. The event is fully booked out!

This event showcases the diversity of marine-focused careers and highlights the significance of STEM to a wide range of jobs in Western Australia’s growing blue economy. We are looking forward to meeting all of our youth participants tomorrow.

We have amazing speakers lined up for tomorrow for our round-robin sessions. Our teens will get a chance to meet all of them, hear their career stories and get tips for "getting their foot" in the door. We will also be using creative ways to look at our connections to the ocean and the exciting ocean careers of the future

It's great to be working with Oceans Institute Student Society and Inspiring Western Australia to make this event possible.

World Ocean Day in Rockingham!

Two library sessions with lots of creative ocean lovers. It was so nice to have a chat about why our oceans are important, what makes a fish a fish, and ocean conservation. 🐟🐠🐡

We met such a cool bunch of ocean lovers today at Mary Davies Library & Community Centre, in Baldivis.

Everyone enjoyed the chance to unleash their creativity and learn a few new things about fish biodiversity and adaptations.

You guys made some of the best fish prints we've seen! 🐟🐠🐡
